NOH has been conducting health camps from the outset to help poor patients who are not able to come to Kathmandu for their treatment. The health camps are divided into a comprehensive health camp where Operation Theaters are set up in the districts by the visiting team from the hospital and the team surgeons along with the nurses perform orthopaedic and trauma surgery even in the remotest of districts, and a simple health camp where patients are seen on an outpatient basis and necessary advice and medicines are given free of cost to the patients.

The comprehensive surgical camps have been done with partner organizations like the Handicap International, Med–Solution Foundation and others and sometimes the hospital takes its own initiative in bearing the finacial cost for the ventures.
